Relics: Which Buildings can house Relics? If you receive a relic and have nowhere to house it what happens?

 Which buildings can house relics? My list so far: Palace, Temple (2), Mont St. Michel (2), St. Basil's Cathedral (2), 

If you receive a relic but do not have anywhere to house the relic it seems to disappear, I don't yet know what would happen if it disappeared and then you created a relic slot, would it automatically appear in the slot? Doubtful.
